Donald STANDIFER Obituary
News Death Notice
STANDIFER, Donald Eugene Age 84 of Lewisburg, formerly of Wengerlawn, went home with the Lord Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Indiana surrounded by family. He was born in Fork Ridge, TN on October 6, 1929 to Mabel and Hayden Standifer. He was preceded in death by his former wife Betty Jean Snead, by his wife Carol & by brothers, Otis, Bill & Fred. Don is survived by his sisters Evelyn "Maurine" Roach and Barbara "Bobbie" Bingham; children, Donna Payne, James (Alice) Stanifer, Shelia (Bob) Dailey, and Jeffery (Shelly) Standifer; step-children, Dean (Sue) Mart, Jeffery (Diane) Mart, and Rodger (Renee) Mart. He was a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather to many precious children. A Memorial Service will be held at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE on Saturday, November 16th at 12 PM, with Pastor Douglas Townsend officiating, with visitation starting at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The Gathering Together - 147 N Center St., Plainfield, IN 46168, where Don spent his final moments in comfort.
