Family-Placed Obituary
BILYEU, Edna "Vi" Viola age 65 of Fairborn passed away Sunday morning November 21, 2004 with a strong courageous battle of 12 years with breast cancer, at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dora & Velma (Rowden) Machon of Dixon, MO. She will be deeply missed by her son, Darrel Bilyeu of Fairborn, her daughter, Twila (Michael) Simons of LaMonte, MO, the Love of her Life for 22 years and friend, James Hardin, Sr. of Fairborn and his son, James Hardin, Jr. and wife, Juline and Edna's brother, Charles Arthur (Lynn) Machon of Dixon, MO. Six grandchildren, Dawn Bilyeu, Daniel Bilyeu, Branden Simons, Sean Simons, Dylan Hardin & James Hardin, III, one great grandson, Aleck Brock and nephew, Charles Machon. Edna was a member of Xenia Church of Christ and the Enon VFW auxiliary Post #8437. Ladies Auxiliary Service with the Funeral Service immediately following, will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 23 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 104W. Main Street, Fairborn. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Brays Cemetery, Dixon, MO. The family would like to thank all of Edna's friends and health care givers over the years. Especially the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center and wonderful staff that has extended her the best of care and support.
