So very sorry to hear the news of Ed's passing. I was privileged to be a part of a once in a lifetime group with Ed in masters swimming. This group uniquely saw no age or class barriers. The rich and poor, the young and the old, students venturing out of mom and dad's house to retired folks; we all enjoyed getting to know each other in the pool and on road trips. I will probably never have that kind of opportunity again and I never would have otherwise become a friend of Ed during those years. But when I think of Ed, I will think of Ed's true achievements in the legacy that he left behind. His interests and passions and lessons live on and have become part of his children who share these qualities with their friends and their children. For Ed's family, some soothing words I came across that express the joy and sorrow of life; You left too soon but forever wouldn't have been long enough.

To the family,
May God give you for every storm... a rainbow,
For every tear... a smile,
For every care... a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share,
For every sigh... a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

To my uncle who I remember well from early childhood. Always funny, kind and good hearted man. To all my cousins, their family and to his own brothers, sisters and extended family, I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts. God Bless you all~

Even though we have only known you both a short time....it feels like a life time. We love you both and will miss Ed's gentle soul dearly.
