Family-Placed Obituary

STYRCULA, Edward L. 79, of Bethel Township, Miami County, passed away July 29, 2005 at the VA Hospital in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his son Michael. He is survived by wife Helen, and six children; Rosann & Bill McCuddy of Cedarville, David & Petra Styrcula of Bethel, Anthony & Diane Styrcula of Bethel, Andrew Styrcula of Maryland, Yvonne Styrcula of Florida, and Mercy Styrcula of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren Shawn, Joshua, Joseph, Trent, William, Alexander, Nicole, Michaela, Oliver, and Kira; and one great-grandchild Devin; two sisters Bunny & Don Poag and Delores Moan; and brother-in-law John Dreier. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Retired from Wright- Patterson AFB where he worked as an electronic engineer. Charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 6144, and American Legion Post 286. A veteran of World War II he served on the USS LST 874 in the Pacific. Visitation is 5-8 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN & CHRISTMAS FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio; funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the funeral home. He will be missed.
