Elizabeth Deis Obituary
Elizabeth (Betty)Deis. Born Elizabeth Ann Beutle on August 19, 1927, and died at Trinity of Beavercreek on Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by love. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Deis, her parents Al and Johanna (Fiely) Beutle, four sisters Kay Deis, Rita Goubeaux, Pauline Kiacz and Patricia Luther; two brothers Ralph and Paul Beutle, 2 granddaughters Kristen Deis and Erin Blatt, daughter- in-law Carol Koesters Deis, and sons-in-law Michael Beam and John Bucher. She is survived by her six children: Michael C. (Sue) Deis, Mitchell E. Deis, Julie Bucher, Joanna Beam, Jeannine Deis and Mark H. (Andrea) Deis. Betty was a devoted grandmother to Greg (Anne) Deis, Elizabeth Deis, Katie Sheehan, Michael (Brooke) Deis, Robert (Katie) Deis, Teresa Deis, Amy (Jeff) Deis Ruzick, Lisa (Nick) Hartley, Matthew (Anne) Bucher, Molly (Grant) Rubesh, Lori Endres, Brian Endres, Chris Endres, Meg (Brian) Norberg, Annie (Alex) Johnson, Kate (Nik)Lima, John (Jackie) Deis, Sam Deis, Annie (Brian) Duggan, Paul Deis and Libby Deis. She was a beloved "Gigi" to her 41 great-grandchildren. John and Betty were Charter Members of Saint Luke Catholic Church in Beavercreek, Ohio. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held there 10:30AM Saturday, August 9, 2025, with Father Michael Holloran officiating. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Beavercreek Senior Center, for a new transport van, Trinity of Beavercreek Auxiliary, or Hospice of Dayton. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Kaufhold and Fresenius of Dayton and the staff of Trinity of Beavercreek for their devoted care of Betty. It was with great sadness to learn of Betty´s passing. I have many, many memories of Betty and John from St. Luke´s and BeAmCo. I wish I was able to attend her service but my prayers are for Betty and her family. My condolences from Bob Zimmer and family.
