News Death Notice
WITTEN, Ellen E. 76, of Xenia, formerly of Northridge, passed away Monday June 29, 2009. Ellen was born in Paynesville, West Virginia on Jan. 3, 1933. She was a telephone operator at Miami Valley Hospital for 17 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Witten in 2002. Survived by her 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Cynthia & Larry Lowe, Jacqueline & Eddie Childers; 3 grandchildren, Elias Childers, Myriah Cox & Erin Schum; 5 great grandchildren, Ethan & Emma Childers, Caitlin & Susannah Cox, Jack Schum; 3 sisters & 1 brother. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 6, 2009, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Rev. Mike Severt, officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek. Ellens family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of service at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
