News Death Notice
PACE, Erica Michele Lindsey went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2009. She is survived by her mother: Amanda Lindsey, sister: Denise Lindsey, brother: Rev. Dr. Winston Lindsey and children: Portland Lindsey, Domminique White, Terry White and Temperance White. Visitation will be February 14, 2009 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Funeral service immediately following, 12 p.m. at Christ Cathedral, 51 Best St., Dayton, OH 45405. Dr. Leon Stutzman and Rev. Dr. Winston Lindsey will be eulogizing. Final Resting Place: Cremation. ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO BOWMAN FUNERAL CHAPEL.

Ms.Erica,
I loved you from day one. I would sit next to you or hug you because I needed to know that it would be ok. You took care of me and my sis in the choir. I will miss praying with you. After singing in choir, i would reach back to hold your hand because there was spiritual divine connection you had. i know you are with the King of Kings and in a better place. I will miss your peace,grace,beauty and fashion. And as I look to the sky, when i feel down and out or happy, I will know that I know you are smiling down on all of us.

To Ms. Amanda, Portland, Domi, Terry & Tempi, my thoughts & prayers are with you. Ms. Erica was the perfect model of dedication, commitment, & joy. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face...ever. She always had a way of lighting up my spirit with her warmth & kindness. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Hospitality" and deservedly so. She poured so much heart & soul into what she did and it's that level of dedication that will be irreplaceable. She was blessed. She will be missed.

ERICA MICHELE LINDSEY-PACE "MICHELE" & "SHELL" & "MOMMY"
My mother was the most amazing human being so kind-hearted, loving, and gentle. Her hugs definitely took away all of your pain. Her smile is her trademark and her designs and dedication to being a Christian, a mother, a friend, member of the Church, and a Hospitality Director. I will miss hearing her voice, her loving texts, her hugs, her love, her very presence. I will miss everything about my mother. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. She loved me like none other and she was the best and most amazing mother that I ever could have asked for. She meant the world to me, and it hurts to think about the fact that she's no longer here. But I know that it's all apart of God's plan and that she is up in Heaven smiling down on me. I promise to make you proud mommy : ). I'll always love you, always remember you, and I'll cherish the memories, personality traits, pictures, advice, and siblings that I have of/from you. See you when I meet you again in Heaven. <3

Erica I will miss you! You were a servant and a beautiful woman! She will be missed at Christ Cathedral C2/ for all of her work and working with the Hospitality at the church! I will miss singing with her in the choir she had a caring heart and I will miss talking/and asking her for advice behind the coffee table at C2!
