Esther Crabtree

CRABTREE, ESTHER ANN

Esther Ann Crabtree passed away on August 25, 2025. She was born on July 17, 1928, to Rev. and Mrs. Floyd Shoemaker. She graduated high school from God's Bible School. She married Rev. James Crabtree on September 14,1946. She was employed by BOMAG, INC. as an executive secretary and sales office supervisor, retiring after 25 years. Esther was a very accomplished vocalist and pianist and served as a choir director at several local churches. She often accompanied her husband, Rev. James Crabtree in his evangelistic work over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James on November 10, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Platt. She also was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joe Brumfield. Esther is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jack Baker. Also, by her daughter, Karla Brumfield, and grandson and his wife, Josh and Gina Predovich, and several nieces and nephews. Esther was a very gifted, beautiful woman who possessed tremendous inner strength and total devotion to God and family. "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and I could say "I used everything that you gave me." - Unknown.
