Evanoff, Florence R.

Florence Evanoff, passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on December 18, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, Florence led a life characterized by her unwavering kindness, generosity, and deep faith. Florence began her career as a secretary at the Dayton Tire and Rubber Company. For over 30 years, Florence was a devoted member of Christ Church United Methodist. Her love for sewing and baking brought happiness to many, particularly through her famous Christmas cookies. Florence's faith as a devout Christian guided her actions and instilled in her a sense of peace and purpose. She leaves behind her niece, Marilyn (Adrian) Bruton, and her nephew, James (Christine) Klinger. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kristi Smith to officiate.
