Floyd LITTLE Obituary
News Death Notice
LITTLE, Floyd W. 92, of Mt. Dora, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares. He was born in York, PA on April 20, 1923. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 yrs., Burnedette V. Leathery in 1991; daughter, Patricia Ann Fontaine in 1981; and his second wife Carol Mellor in 2005 after 12 yrs. of marriage. He is survived by his daughter, Carol and son-in-law, Nathan Adams; three granddaughters, Dawn (Russell Hunter) Adams, Christy (Jason) Bennett, and Melissa (Scott) Forrest; and great grandson Tanner. He was a Professional Engineer of Ohio, graduated from the University of Dayton. He retired from the Air Force Flight Dynamics Lab at Wright-Patterson AF Base after 36 years of service. He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps. Entombment will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, Florida.
