I'm so sorry you've lost your sweet and funny little furbaby. He's rid of the disease that took him from you, and he's now ready to play with Maverick. He'll also be waiting for you. Many prayers God gives you peace and comfort. <3

My trusty dog, Sergeant Jenkins, just died and I mourn his passing. He could fetch the ball and newspaper. Alert and ready to protect me. Gentle with children. Never had bad breath and always pooped in the corner of the yard (so no one had to step in it). He liked hard and soft dog food. Trips to the Vet were always a happy time. He especially liked bath day. A run in the park was such a treat. Other dogs liked him and wanted to be near him. All neighbors adored his playful nature. Such a joy to partner with as a companion. One time he saved a child from getting hit by a car. Another time he located a poor elderly woman who had wandered off near a river. He was undoubtedly a hero (at least to me). So long dear sweet Sgt Jenkins. Peaceful rest in doggy heaven. You earned the golden bone!

Losing our furry family members is never easy. God Bless Goose and his brother Maverick, who will be greeting him in the heavenly realm.

I am so sorry about Goose. I think it is special that you wrote an obituary for him. I am sure you gave him the best life.
When Lily died, my heart was broken so I know how you feel.
