Harold Hoover Obituary


News Death Notice

HOOVER, Harold W. 90, of Wadsworth died Thursday, December 31, 2009. Born October 23, 1919 in Cincinnati, OH to the late William and Ivy Hoover. Mr. Hoover served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, was a graduate of the University of Dayton and Georgetown University, was retired from the Defense Supply Agency, and was a member of Eastgate Lodge #603. He was preceded in death by his daughter Bonnie. He is survived by his wife Kathryn, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage, one son Douglas Hoover of Cincinnati, one grandson Darren Stover of MD, one granddaughter Melissa (Ray) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN, three great grandchildren; August, Ella, and Darren Robbie, his brother Edwin Hoover of FL, and dear friends Becca and Abe Kovein, along with nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where the family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday. Please meet at the Information Center at 10:45 AM Wednesday.
