Tammy I don't even know if you remember me. Heather and I were best friends in Connecticut. I was always at your house or her dads house in Mystic. I had moved to Georgia to live with my dad when I was 13. I have thought about Heather just about everyday since I moved. I had looked for her on facebook and Myspace. I even asked a few friends in Connecticut if they know how to get ahold of her. Then I founf a memorial sight for her. I couldn' believe what I was reading. I am so sorry for your loss. From her perspective, Life makes sense now; she can ask forgiveness and accept forgiveness. We imagine Heather might tell you not to abandon all those desires for her just because she is gone, but now offer them to others in her honor and give her the satisfaction from heaven in knowing she has left something beautiful behind her.
We are praying you might get the answers you need and the respect deserved of any one shouldering such a deep, and regrettable loss. When we lose a child by death or by circumstances, we lose a piece of ourselves and the world loses a bit of its hope and promise for the future. Heather's loss is all of our loss.
