News Death Notice
MILLER, Herbert H. "Herb" Departed this life August 21, 2016. He was born November 30, 1932 in Richmond, Kentucky to Chester Arthur and Katie Elizabeth Miller. Seven of his siblings proceeded him in death. Herb served his country for 26 years in the United States Air Force and after retirement again as a civilian where was the Deputy Chief of Supply at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he retired in 1994. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 56 years, Elise Miller; children Sheila Smith (Greg), Micheal (Treva), and Sonya Sanders; son-in-law Jorge Erazo, sister Olivia Yarbrough and six grandchildren: Danial Erazo, Gabrielle Miller, Tatiana Miller, Cristina Erazo, Solomon Miller, and Joshua Sanders, and one great-grandchild, Avah Jayde Miller, and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. Viewing, 9 AM until time of services. The family will receive friends 10 AM, funeral services 11 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Northwest Church of Christ, 489 S. Broadway St., Trotwood. Bro. Herbert and I grew up in the same area in Madison County Kentucky and attended the same Elementary and High School. We also served together in the U.S. Air Force at Tachikawa Air Base in Japan. To the family please accept my expressions of sympathy and may God Bless and keep each of you.

Brother Miller was such an inspiration to me. The short time that I've known him he was always smiling, he was a wonderful teacher, well verse in the bible and I always looked forward to my bible studies with him. He was an amazing man and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
