News Death Notice

MOBLEY, Hilda (nee Schiewetz) age 80 of Hamilton, Ohio and Ft Myers, Florida passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at her in home in Hamilton. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 16, 1934. She was preceded in death by her Father, Daniel; Mother, Opal; brothers, Oscar and Danny; sister, Sylvia Jane; and son, Brian. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John "Jack"; sister, Lorraine; children Doug (Yvonne), Larry (Cindy), Melissa (Kurt), and Deanna; along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a 1952 graduate of Stivers High School and continued to enjoy a close friendship with many of her Stivers classmates via monthly dinners, cards, and outings. She was very involved at the City of Kettering schools where her children attended and was a lifelong member of Greenmont Community Church. The family will receive friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Saturday, May 24, 2014, from 2 to 4 pm ,immediately followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm, Dr Charles Sunberg officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to; www.tobiasfuneralhome.com

I am deeply saddened to hear of Hilda's passing. Working with her back in the early 80's at Gold Circle Stores, I was always amazed on how happy she always seemed to be. With a million dollar smile and a personality to match, she was the heartbeat of the front lines. I am blessed to have know such a kind spirit for so many years.
