Irene DeSARO

DeSARO, Irene G. Age 96, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Irene was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio to the late Frank and Rose Gulas. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Irene was a lifetime member of Incarnation Catholic Church. She was an avid traveler and golfer, who also loved to dance and sing. She was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Dayton Country Club; where she danced with the Fork & Fiddle and sang with the Sing Along Group. She is preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Joseph DeSaro,Sr. sons-in-law Frank Sebesta and Mike McWilliams, two brothers, and brother-in-law Charles DeSaro. Irene is survived by her children Joseph (Debbie) DeSaro Jr., RoseAnn Sebesta, Annette (Alan) Hoover, MaryLou McWilliams, step-daughter Anne Runyan Herderick, grandchildren Joe DeSaro, Jenny (Greg) Belcher; Gail (Matt) Burns, Sue (Dale) Scheidler, and Amy (Russ) Rennecker; Steven (Michelle) Fox, and Rodney (Gina) Fox; Dia (Shane) Sanders, and Bradley (Katrina) McWilliams, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. Family will receive friends 4:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Friday, November 9, 2018 at Incarnation Catholic Church. With Entombment to follow in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Irene's name to your charity of choice.
