SHIVERDECKER, Iris Mae Delong age 96, of New Lebanon, OH and formerly of Lewisburg, OH, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in New Lebanon, OH. Born on April 7, 1914 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. & Bessie F. (Beson) Hartrum. Iris was the owner and operator of a gift shop in Lewisburg. She had worked at Rikes in Dayton and was a Preble County Realtor for many years, owner and operator of Iris & Jims Hardware in Lewisburg. Member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Harborside and Crossroads Hospice. Preceded in death by Husband: Franklin James Shiverdecker in 2002; Son: Kenneth A. DeLong, Jr. in 2009; Brother: Lewis Seymour Hartrum in 2003; Grandson: James Pansing in 1978. Survived by Daughters: Kathryn Ann (Don) Guntle, Eaton, OH, Edith Mae Pansing, Lewisburg, OH; Daughter-in-law: Charlotte Delong, West Alexandria, OH; Sister-in-law: Mary Hartrum, Brookville, OH; Grandchildren: Brenda (Dean) Miller, David (Vickie) Guntle, Donna (Warren) Kuck, Michael (Tracey) DeLong, Beth Ann Rose and Jason (Jennifer) DeLong; 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 9, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
