News Death Notice
HINTON, Mrs. Isabella (Hall) age 76, of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at her residence. Born October 13, 1933 in Lowndes County, Mississippi to the late George and Martha (McClung) Hall. Isabella was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church serving on the Usher Board until her health failed. Preceded in death by her 2 children, Martha A. Colvin and Calvin Hinton; 3 siblings, King Edward, Marion & Rosie M. Hall. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 57 years, Abe Hinton, Jr.; 3 siblings, Lottie Davis, Nathan (Sara) & Sampy Hall; 4 children, Sharon (Kenneth) Wilkinson, Melvin, Dorothy & Brutus Hinton; son-in-law, Rev. Henry Colvin and former son-in-law, Russell Anderson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; special friend, Elizabeth Long; a host of brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, October 4, 2010 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Rev. Warren E. Shaw officiating. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Monday at the funeral home until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. The family would like to thank Dr. Moroney & staff, & Hospice of Dayton Outpatient Care for their loving care rendered to Isabella during her courageous journey.
