MANCZ, Jacob Jr. age 89, a resident of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the Wood Glen Community. Jacob was born in Detroit, Ml on August 14, 1914 to the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Lemal) Mancz, Sr. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Opal (Behnken) Mancz, his second wife, Elizabeth (Davell) Mancz; 2 sisters, Elizabeth and Eva; 1 brother, Matthew. He is survived by 4 daughters, Phyllis Mancz of Miamisburg, Pauline (Bob) Houseman of Germantown, Judy (Phil) Deisher of West Alexandria, Mary Mancz of Miamisburg; 1 son, Robert (Irene) Mancz of Waynesville; 1 sister, Helen Meier of Celina; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WW II, had retired from General Motors after 39 years of service and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon Thursday at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd.
