News Death Notice

CAMPBELL, James Marion "Jim" Was born July 26, 1946 in Adams County, Ohio. Jim departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was a faithful servant and man of God attending West Union Christian Union Church during his teenage years. After graduation, Jim joined the United States Air Force, serving 8 years in the military including 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. After returning to civilian life, Jim became an employee of the United States Postal Service, retiring after 20 years years of service. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Chalmer Owen Campbell and Loretta (Gifford) Campbell Fox and a sister, Linda Ruth. He was also preceded in death by his brother -in-law, William Leen. Jim leaves to mourn his passing: his wife, Jeannette Williams; son, James Jacob Campbell; daughter, Julia Campbell; step-sons, Chaide Mason, Avi Williams, and Brian William; step-daughter, Detriche Williams. Also, seven sisters: Jo Ann (Ron) Ballman, Carol Leen, Shirley (Persio) Minto, Evelyn (Dan) Groh, Sarah (Homer) Bennington, Judy (Ron) Trubee, and Catherine Fox along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Grave-site funeral services will be held at the Dayton VA on Tuesday May 5th at 10am.

To Jim's family, sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I worked with him many years at the Post Office, he shared many stories and we had a lot of laughs. I'm sure he will be missed. Joe Ball
