HENDRICKS, Jr., James Carl "Jimmy"

Age 74, passed away Wednesday, October 6th. He was

preceded in death by wife, Mary Hendricks; parents, James Sr. and Ruby Hendricks, and

infant sister, Patricia Hendricks. He is survived by daughter, Shaunda (Anthony) McFarlin, of GA; stepdaughter, Jill (Patelli) Paschal, of CA, and son, James Carl (Hollye)

Hendricks III, of FL; 2 sisters, Joann Bankston and Renee

(Robert) Reid, both of Dayton; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Tom) Pitts of Cincinnati; 2 brothers, Thomas (Rosalind) Hendricks, of CA, and Lawrence Hendricks, of Dayton; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends. A graduate of Dunbar High School, he provided over 40 years of dedicated service to Bowman Funeral Chapel and was an Equipment Trainer and Operator for years at Emery Worldwide Freight. A service will not be held.

Jimmy and I worked together at Bowman Funeral Chapel. He was indeed a kind person and always willing to help you if he could. He was hilariously funny. He taught me a lot about preparing the deceased. He was indeed the master at it.
