VINES, James E. Age 66, was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 24, 1951 to Bernard Harper and Dorothea Vines. He departed this life May 19, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Harper and his sister, Valorie Wright. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: his mother, Dorothy Vines; (2) sisters, Darnese (Albert) Hunter and Earlene Smoot; (2) brothers, Michael (JoAnn) Vines and Anthony Vines; special brother, Larry Stephens; (2) devoted and loving daughters, Jameica (Guy) Muhammad and Janita E. Vines; (1) son, James E. Vines II; his lifelong friend and devoted mother of all his children: Anita L. Wilkinson; (9) grandchildren (whom he adored) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., SATURDAY, May 26, 2018 at GLORIOUS LIGHT CHURCH OF THE LIVNG GOD, 3661 Evansville Ave., with Pastor Henry Brunson, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Woodland Cemetery.
