Janet Bushong Obituary

Family-Placed Obituary

BUSHONG, Janet (Lee) Age 59 of Kettering, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 after a valiant battle with cancer that gave courage and tenacity a new name. Everyone will use her can-do attitude and zany wit as examples. Janet's love of reading, cooking, and entertaining made her a sought-after friend. Her creativity and enthusiasm for the task redefined parenting and grandmother-hood. She will be forever cherished by the love of her life, husband Daniel Lee Bushong, son Darrin Lee Bushong (Marna), daughter Danielle Kathryn "Sissy" Bushong Boyce (Jon), and her "ask me about my" grandchildren Gavin Daniel, Olivia Grace, and Ian Bradford Bushong; Abigail Dawn, Daniel Edward and Madison Lee Boyce, a host of friends and relatives, and two beloved fat cats, Fluffer and Little Boy. Janet was a partner with her husband Dan at Bushong Restaurant Equipment. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers treat your family to a special night out, take candy to someone lonely.. .tie on a balloon or give generously to a street person, say it's from Janet, a lovely spirit who graced our lives and will continue to do so from the bright forever. Contributions may also be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.bakerhazelsnider.com. Dear Uncle Danny, I am deeply saddened by Aunt Janets' passing. I realize that one can never take for granted that a person will always be there and push things off for a future time. I wish she had met Justin, now 10, and Austin, now 8.

I hope that she knew I was always grateful to her for helping and supporting me in my search all those years ago.

My thoughts are with you Uncle Danny.

Much love to you,

Stacy Ann
