Family-Placed Obituary

PENNY, Janice Arlene (Kress) age 76 of West Milton passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents Burlen & Miowne (Elleman) Kress. She is survived by her husband Richard E. Penny of more than 58 years, daughter & son-in-law Shawn & David Reintjes-Jacksonville, N.C., son & daughter-in-law Scott & Julie Penny-West Milton, grandchildren Kate & Mike Mandel, Elizabeth & Nick DeAngelo, Chris & Cristina Reintjes, Julia Reintjes, Susan & Kyle Mack, David Penny, Jeff Penny, great-grandchildren Noah, Grace & Madison Mandel, Sydney Mack, sisters Jeanne Coate-West Milton, Jane Morgan-Englewood. Janice was an avid collector of teddy bears and gave numerous talks about them. She previously worked for the Milton-Union Public Library and served as librarian for the McKinley Junior High School. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with Rev. Stanley Ward officiating, burial to follow at Potsdam Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00) A.M. at Hale-Sarver. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Milton-Union Public Library.
