I met Jeff at the salvation army where I am a volunteer. We all loved Jeff and our hearts are broken. We were trying to get him a sewing machine so he could make satchels. We are so very sorry for your loss!

Shocked to learn the man found was Jeff. I enjoyed our talks drinking coffee on the porch or sitting around an evening fire. We talked about birds, music and really all kinds of stuff. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

So sad to hear this news. I knew him in his high school years and always looked up to him when I was a kid. My mom was his art teacher and we even visited him in college. His piece named " lady bug" is still my favorite work, that I have seen in person. I will always remember his work at the congressional art show and how it was so impressive to win back to back years with such different works( lady bug first year and a self portrait the next).
