Norris, Jerry

Jerry J. Norris, 87, of Miamisburg, passed away on August 27,2024, at Stoney Ridge Senior Living. He was born October 22, 1936, to Harold A. and Fairy F. Norris. Jerry graduated from Milton Union High School and entered the construction business. After a stint in the U.S. Army, he became a respected, self-employed plumbing contractor in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. He was an avid sports fan, and in earlier years, loved golfing with friends, long road trips, and shopping for antiques with his wife. Several winters in Florida were also enjoyed. Jerry is survived by his wife, Joy; son, Matthew H. (Bobbi) Norris; son, Jeffrey C. (Lisa) Norris; grandchildren, Carly Norris, Cameron(Emma Estepp) Norris, Trevor Norris, Gage Kennedy, Aiden Kennedy, Lilly Kennedy, and Manning and Audrey Norris. He was predeceased by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Hazel Curtis ; sister, Gloria Beatley; brother-in-law, Carlton Beatley; sister-in-law, Shirley Leslie; brother-in-law, Michael Hazelwood; brother-in-law, David Curtis. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Stoney Ridge Senior Living and Affinity Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. There will be a private graveside service at Woodside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. At a later date, family and friends will gather at his home to celebrate and honor Jerry's life.
