Johanna Fish Obituary
News Death Notice
FISH, Johanna J. age 91, of Dayton and formerly of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011. Johanna was the retired Head Nurse of the first Coronary Care Unit in the State of Ohio at Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue and Hadassah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kurt R. in 2008. Johanna is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Dr. David Joffe of Kettering; daughter, Judith Fish of Coconut Creek, FL; son, Ronald Fish of Deerfield Beach, FL; grandchildren, Rebecca & Michael Joffe; niece, Sherry Lieber & nephew, Sheldon Strauss both of Cleveland; along with other family and friends. Johanna was lovingly cared for by special friends, Frieda and Charlotte and the caring staff of The Covenant House (now Four Seasons of Dayton). Funeral service 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Beth Abraham Cemetery Chapel, 1817 West Schantz Ave. with Rabbi Bernard Barsky & Cantor Andrea Raizen officiating. Interment Beth Abraham Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Beth Abraham Synagogue or the charity of your choice in Johanna's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Homes, North Main Street Chapel.

To Susan Joffe, Judy and Ron Fish,
Susan I am sure you do not remember me, but I worked with you at Good Sam back in 1979-80. I went to High School with Judy and Ron. I was so very sorry to hear about your mother passing away. May her memory be eternal, and may she be in be in a place of joy and peace. May God be with you during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
