He was a wonderful Dr. He saw my Mom for most of her life and helped me as a child. I returned to him as an adult and he diagnosed me with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. The information I received from him has helped me to navigate this very tricky existence. I didn't know of his passing until a few years ago and send my very belated but sincere condolences to his fanily and friends. He was a truly kind hearted man and he is still missed today.

I have just recently found out that Dr. Boyles passed away and I am very sorry to hear this. I recall being treated by Dr. Boyles at a very young age for my allergies and I remember what a big difference he made in the handling of my allergies. I remember what a nice man he was. Again, I am very sorry to hear of his passing and send my belated condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

I drove through a blizzard at night in Ohio in 1994 to take my three year-old son to Dr. Boyles. It was a treacherous trip but worth every dangerous mile to have my son correctly diagnosed by a brilliant and compassionate doctor!
I did not know until today, 5/12/2020, that Dr. Boyles had died. I wish I had been able to see him again before he passed on. He was a good man whose kindness and truthfulness were qualities that endeared him to so many people and created trust in his patients.
Thanks, Dr. Boyles, for being so wonderful to my son and me!
Sincerely,
Shelley V. Ferner

I'm so sorry to read this, and so long after his passing, but I will never forget dear Dr Boyles, and pass my sincere but belated condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Other doctors had ignored my symptoms that clearly pointed to hypothyroidism since my blood work was 'in range', but dear Doctor Boyles prescribed Armour and made me well again during my brief sojourn in Ohio. Having to leave the US meant a return to less informed doctors and a return of symptoms. I do hope his influence and ethos continues amongst his colleagues and wish them all well as independent-minded practitioners. Rest in peace, dear Dr Boyles, you were a giant who epitomised the caring doctor we all need but so rarely experience.

He saved my life. I was an orphan adopted by a couple back in the nearly 30's. I was born to an unwed mother. I had twin brothers. I found one of them after searching. It took me over 25 years to get all of my information, which I shared with Dr. John Boyles. I was allergic to everything. When I
first saw him, he said it was a miracle that I lived long enough to finally get the help I had needed. I was a mess when I was referred to him.He was WONDERFUL in every way. Always had time for a bit of chatter etc .He encouraged me to start searching so I could come up with information that might help me " healthfully ".I have been told that I should write a book. It took me over 40 years to get all the info. that I needed. I showed him the picture my adoptive parents gave me when I was old enough to understand what had gone on. I spent a whole summer going to meet all the people that had helped me with my search. He had encouraged me "all the way" to do what I needed to do. Get all the info. I needed so I could go and meet everyone that i had talked to or written to
(which I did). It took me quite a few weeks that summer to travel and meet everyone and get all the info. I could. It was s.o.o.o.o. exciting. I got to meet 8 living half brothers and sisters on my father's side. The younger sister looked exactly like me . . . WOW. .. My mother had died before I started looking for her. I had twin brothers and I was able to meet one. The other no one seemed to know where he was. So I met my one twin brother and his family on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina . . never found the other brother. I am good friends with my half sisters (one especially ).
She entertained me in her home and my Father lived with her and her husband. I could write many more pages but I just can't go there now. Too much info. and i will be 89 this July 8th ( 1927) Joanne was absolutely wonderful to me at all times. I looked forward to going to your husband and your children's Dad. I had no idea that he had passed away . . . I was so.o. o.o.o. disappointed. My husband had a very bad fall and was hospitalized and then came home for me to take care of ( 4 years ago ). I kind of lost contact with allot of my friends and important people in my life. Your husband and father was my VERY BEST friend and confident. I looked up to him and appreciated the way he treated all of his patients. . . . GREAT . . . He was such a kind and concerned person and very unselfish.
My deepest sympathy to each of you. You have got to be a super family . He was so very very proud of you. I know He is definitely in "God's care". May God bless each of you and I thank GOD that your father and husband crossed my path and helped and encouraged me for well for over 25 years to become a healthy and well person. I owe my good heath all these past 25- 30 years ( or more) to your wonderful husband and father.
MY love and deep concern for your SUPER GREAT LOSS and if only. . I had known I would have definitely been there with my husband to pay our respect to a such a wonderful human being. He was the greatest encourager and a VERY POSITIVE person. Both my parents were gone before I was 21. I was all alone. . .MY Mom and Dad were the GREATEST most wonderful parents any child could ever have. I have so much to be greatful for . . May God bless each of you today and forever and I pray with all of my heart that you are all getting along A O K by now. God is the greatest healer . . .Time is in His Hands.. That is for sure. With much love, respect and concern for one of my very dearest friends and his beloved family. . . . Lois E Ferrier
PS: I certainly hope that you get this letter . . .
PPS: I am not the best emailer. My only son gave me this computer years ago. I had a beautiful daughter & she died in "03 and She is in heaven too . . . .
May God bless each of you now and forever . . . . . .

So sorry to hear of Dr. Boyles struggles, He was a classy fellow. Loved working with him, one day in surgery I asked him why whenever I ate anything hot my nose would start running. He looked at me very seriously and said cause you're a SNOT!
