John LIGGINS Obituary
News Death Notice
LIGGINS, John W. Age 72, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1962, retiree of GM/Delco Products, and a faithful Deacon of St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Laura Liggins; sister, Julia Coleman; brothers, Steve (Laura), Jessie "Buddy", Edward and Sylvester Liggins; great grandson, Kennan Brown. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Tomasena Liggins; son, Terry J. Liggins; daughter, Lisa R. Liggins-Pritchett; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Wilson Williams. Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 9, 2015 at St. Timothy M. B. Church, 4466 Free Pike. Pastor Alonzo Looney officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9-11 am. Family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Special thanks to Good Samaritan Heart Hospital ICU, Christ Heart Hospital, Cincinnati, OH, Kingston Manor nursing home, and Cross Roads.
