Joseph Peterman Obituary
News Death Notice
PETERMAN, Joseph John 83, passed away Tuesday, October 19 after bravely battling Alzheimers Disease. Joe was a long time employee of IBM, a charter member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a volunteer for The Holy Spirit Center and The House of Bread. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Katherine and his sister Ann (Wourms). Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Hildred, and their children Mark (Amy) and Julie (Rick) Taylor; 5 grandchildren, John (Nicole), Daniel (Freya), Sara (Joe) Fernandez, Sam and Chance Taylor; 4 great granddaughters, Shayla, Jaylen, Alexis and Cecilia; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road. The family will receive friends from 9am 10am in the foyer of the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 3797 Summit Glen Rd # G100, Dayton, OH 45449- 3664, the Dayton VA Hospital, 4100 W. Third Street Dayton, OH 45428 or Dayton Childrens Medical Center, 1 Childrens Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.

I was sorry to read of Joe's passing. It was many years ago that I, and his sister Ann, were best friends in the late 40's. I would see Joe whenever I visited at their home. He was always very kind to me. I am sure he will be dearly missed.
