Family-Placed Obituary
JAMES, Katsy 94 of Englewood, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. She was a faithful charter member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Katsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert T. James, ten brothers, eight sisters and four grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters, Katie Stephen, Bertha Jackson and Doris Ferguson all of Dayton, Delores (Jacob) Robinson of Grand Rapids, Michigan; One sister, Nettie Johnson of Compton, California. She survived to have five generations of 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Her devoted caregiver, Deborale (Renee) Richardson and a host of relatives and very special friends. The celebration of her homegoing will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 15, 2006 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 5370 Dayton-Liberty Road. Pastor Chad A. White, officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. James to Hospice of Dayton. Services Respectfully Rendered by H.H. Roberts.
