Beaty, Kenneth L. "Kenny"

Beaty, Kenneth L. "Kenny", 81, of Springfield, went to be with his children and beloved grandmother, Thelma Hively, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Kenny was born on October 29, 1943, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Evelyn (Hively) Beaty. He retired from R&M after several years. He was also a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and St. Andrew's Masonic Lodge No. 619. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley A. (Collingsworth); five grandchildren, Denise Beaty, Katlyn Damon, Christopher Beaty, Kenneth Beaty and Daniel Ratliff; six great grandchildren, Chasity Crawford, Carson Besecker, Connor Beaty, Madison Beaty, Laylah Ratliff and Dakota Ratliff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ken Beaty, Jr.; two daughters, Denise Beaty and Lisa Beaty: and one brother, Raymond Beaty, Jr. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4 at 12:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
