Kenneth Roehrig

ROEHRIG, Kenneth E. Age 81, of Englewood, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Cypress Pointe, following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eileen & Gene Roehrig, first wife, Barbara Ann Roehrig in 1960, second wife, Carol Roehrig in Feb., by a daughter, Nancy Sue Roehrig, brother, Thomas Roehrig & by an infant sister. He retired in 1978 from Iron Workers Local 290 and then later worked for the City of Englewood at both the Government Center & the Earl Heck Center. He was a member of Englewood United Methodist Church, Englewood Lodge #743, F&AM, O.E.S. chapter 563, Englewood, where he also was the recipient of the Rainbow Cross of Color. Ken is survived by daughters, Cindy Roehrig, Cathie Knoll, Lori (Marc) Palmer; grandchildren, Craig (Keri) Palmer, Jessica Palmer, Samuel Bunn, Shay-Ann Knoll, Cara Knoll (fianc?, Garrett Freeders); great-granddaughter, Carlie Palmer and numerous other relatives and friends, both here and in Florida. Funeral services will be held beginning at 4 PM Sat. March 31 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Kim Armentrout officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 PM Sat. until service time. If desired, the family suggests donations to either Hospice of Dayton or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
