Ken and his wife, Thelma, were among our dearest friends. Thelma and Joanne graduated from Oakwood High School. They were in each other's weddings. We kept in touch with them regularly after we moved to Cleveland. We last visited with Ken at his home last November.

Ken, Thelma, and the girls were some of the best part of my growing up. With them living across the street, they were almost 2nd parents to all of us. I was very saddened by the news of Ken's passing but he is now up in heaven with Thelma, my Mom (Pat Harshbarger), Ginny Jackson and Laura. Lisa I pray for God's help during this sad time. Love you all.

Ken and Thelma were outstanding neighbors and lived across the street from us for years. There was always a gigantic crowd at their front door on Beggar's Night as Thelma's students (and their chilren!) stopped by. We remember the annual New Year's Day football festivities, the fishing trips with Ken and the wonderful flowers Thelma planted and tended. And no one could forget that Ken was the original "tool man" - whatever a neighbor needed to fix something you could bet that Ken would have that particular tool and be happy to loan it and, if needed, advice as well!
We're glad that Ken and Thelma and Laura are together again.

Ken, you and Thelma will always hold a special place in our hearts. We think of you often and we will miss you always. Because of your kindness and generosity, Holly and I were able to have our dream come true. You helped make it happen for us and we will never forget that. We see you both in every flower that blooms in spring and when the flag waves on your Father's Day flag pole in our yard. We are thankful to have known you and Thelma and we take comfort in knowing you are now together again. Tom And Holly Williams
