Alyce & Lee Ann - just wanted you to know you're in the thoughts and prayers of our family. We should all be so lucky to have a legacy like Leo does, leaving behind a wife and daughter who I know he could not have been more proud of.

I was never in any of Mr. Lucas' classes but I remember him from the REAL Dunbar High School. I also remember him from J. B. Blaton on Fifth Street next to the Classic Theater. My sister worked for him at J. B. Blaton and took many business classes that he taught.
He was a great asset to Dunbar and the city of Dayton. He will be fondly remembered forever.
May God, as you unserstand God, continue to cradle you in his loving arms as you experience this sad time. May your loving memories of Mr. Lucas be in your hearts until and beyond the end of time. With deepest sympathy.

Mr. Lucas was the spark that lighted my passion for accounting. He... his life, his legacy will always be an inspiration to me. As I sometimes struggle to keep my life in order I draw upon my memories of him to help me through hard times. My only regret is that I never told him how I feel. For that I am truly sorry.
My wife and my children have never met Mr. Lucas, but they know because of him I have been able to accomplish many great things.
Although he is not here in body, he is here in spirit; and that... I think... will live on forever!
We will cherish the memories forever.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Mrs. Lucas & Lea Ann, Karen & Kendall informed me of Mr. Lucas's passing. It saddened me to receive the news. During my youth, he was one of many strong accomplished men in the neighborhood who, along with my dad, served as a role model. My grandparents use to tell me to always do my best because you never knew who may be watching. As a young man, I watched Mr. Lucas & because of him & many others I've grown into the person I am. I'm grateful to have know him. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

It was such a pleasure to meet Mr. & Mrs. Lucas here at Bellbrook he was such a sweet man, I looked forward to saying hi to him in the mornings as he would wave his hand and grin while snapping his fingers to the music. I know the Lord will enjoy him snapping his fingers to the wonderful music in heaven. Mrs. Lucas you and your family are definitly in my prayers, remember what you told me stay strong and keep the faith!!
