News Death Notice

TIFFIN, Louis Russell age 98 of Friendship Village, formerly of Northville, MI and Sebring, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008. He had been a small business man for many years, including owning and operating his own bakery. Louis was a member of the United Methodist Church, was a lifetime member of the Masons in Northvilie, MI, where be was a 32nd Degree, a Scottish and York Rite Mason and was High Priest of the Union Chapter. He was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his son: Donald Louis Tiffin of Williamston, MI, grandchildren: Margaret Bosca of MI, Roy W. (Margaret) Tiffin of MI, Karin (Howard) Westergard of MI, James Louis (Susan) Tiffin of Springboro, OH, Constance (Todd) Conte of MI, 8 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Bertha (Seylir) Tiffin, parents: James and Clara (Rose) Tiflin, sisters: Mabel Fisher, Grace Mitchell and daughter-in-law: Margaret Irene Tiffin. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be held at Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi, MI. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood is handling arrangements.
