CORBIN, Marian age 92, passed December 30, 2013 at her residence. Born December 12, 1921 in Dayton, OH to William T. and Lillian Stevenson Williams, Sr. She was a graduate of Dunbar HS class of 39 and employed as an LPN. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Melvin W. Corbin, brother, Williams Wilson, Jr., sister Lydia Glass and 1 grandchild. Survived by son, Dale W. (Jacqueline) Burroughs of Sellersburg, IN; daughter, Virginia (Josephus) Keeple of Dayton; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Service of memory Monday, January 6, 2014 1:00 p.m. St. Margaret's Episcopal Church 5301 Free Pike Rev. Benjamin Speare-Hardy II, pastor. Public viewing after 11 a.m. at the church where the family will receive friends 12 noon until time of service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to BOWMAN & YOUNG FUNERAL CHAPEL 2060 Germantown St. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.bowmanfc.com.

I never met Mrs. Corbin, I have only read her obituary. She has had an amazing life. It appears she enjoyed life and she lived it the best that she knew how. She had to love her family, to see her great grandchildren must have been a blessing. I am praying for Mrs. Corbin's family and friends who are grieving over the loss of such an extravagant lady. May God give you the peace only He can provide at this time.
