Mrs. Foskuhl was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to many. To me, she was my 3rd grade teacher; and the only teacher during my education experience that really tried to build a relationship with me, which I greatly appreciated.
I remember beginning class each morning with singing 'Zipidee Doo Dah' and her classes heavily being focused on project based learning and sciences. I learned to start plants, and to tend a garden, about electricity, density, and solubility. We incubated chickens and learned about creation of life.
Through my education journey, I always struggled to empathize and build healthy relationships with my instructors, but not Mrs. Foskuhl. I have always been able to look back on my time as Mrs. Foskuhl's student as a positive time due to the compassion, love, and effort she put into each student. It brings me a heavy hear to read of her passing and find out that future students will miss out on the opportunity to experience such a wonderful woman.

I taught with Marilyn and remember her as a well respected and loved teacher and counselor. She always went the extra mile to help the kids and their families. She will be missed by all those who were blessed by her love

Marilyn was an inspiration to me. She was for many years the only person, other than myself, that I knew who also had Myasthenia Gravis. Her example of living strong really helped me through the first years after my diagnosis. She also recognized what was happening to me long before my doctors did. We were in the same TOPS chapter also for years where, being Marilyn, she encouraged every member in our group. She will be missed.
Our thoughts are with her family as they cherish her memory.

There never has been and never will be a more wonderful person. She was always there for us during school and that didn't change after graduation. She was our counselor and our friend. Fly high and I have no doubt that you'll continue to watch over us.
