Marlene Roach Obituary

Roach (Black), Marlene Yvonne

Our precious Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma took the hand of her one and only love as they were reunited at the gates of Heaven on July 27th, 2025. Marlene Yvonne (Black) Roach was born March 3, 1934 to the late Clem and Maycel (Garrod) Black in Hamilton, Ohio. Preceding Marlene in death was her husband Harrison "Haircut" Roach Jr., mother Maycel Stump, and sister Geraldine Black. Marlene and her daughter Shelley Johnson shared a bond through the joys and challenges of life and her days are now forever changed with her passing. Shelley's children were especially devoted to her: Jim (Amy) Koehler and Ashley Koehler. Her great-grandchildren, Mason and Maddie, got to experience the happiness of having a Great-Grandma. A private service to celebrate the life of Marlene Yvonne Roach will be handled by Rose Hill Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her partner for life Haircut.
