News Death Notice

HUMPHREVILLE, Michael E. Age 70 of Centerville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home. He was born November 29, 1945 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Robert and Ruth Humphreville. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scott Humphreville. Mike served with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam prior to his career as an insurance broker. He was a member of Dayton NAIFA and the Ta-Wa-Si Club of Dayton and a past president of both organizations He attended Fairhaven Church where he served as an usher. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce, his son, Chris (Katie) and daughters, Colleen and Julie as well as five grandchildren, Raven Ladd, Sage and Quinn Adams, Hayden and Henry Humphreville, sister Carol Bambey (Pete) and brothers, Tom (Lynda) Humphreville and Dave (Amy) Humphreville and many other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be Thursday April 14, 2016 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 - 2:00PM at Fairhaven Church 637 E. Whipp Rd. Centerville, OH 45459. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Fairhaven Church Missions, Hospice of Dayton or a favorite charity. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book.

Still missin' the guy today and probably always will. We were two best of friends who shared many adventures and misadventures over the years . . . like spending a cold moon lit October night in a 24' sailboat aground in Chesapeake Bay with Dee and Joycie.
