On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, my brother was a 15. I will really miss my brother. Growing up we had the usually battles especially since I was a much younger than he and I could be a pain. I remember the time we tried to wash a stray cat in the bathtub. We put on long sleeve shirts and winter gloves but that cat didn't want a bath. We were left with a messy floor and a wet cat lost somewhere in our home. It was all his idea! He had a fantastic sense of humor and made me laugh every time I talked to him. He always had stories to tell me about our family and growing up. He was a genuis playing the piano. I was mesmerized by his talent and could listen to him play for hours. As we enter our senior years of life we developed a closer friendship. Not only did we share the love of jazz music and discuss the different tastes of wine, we talked about our devotion to God and what our religion has meant to us. He struggled with his health problems for a long time and I admired his strength and faith. I know he is enjoying himself in Heaven and is probably playing a piano tune for the Angels and dancing the tango every chance he can. He loved ballroom dancing and I am so glad he had the opportunity to experience that in his lifetime. I visited our parent's gravesite the day Nick left this earth and I knew my brother, mom and dad were all together in Heaven. A friend told me that day, Nick was in Heaven with God watching over us, and I know he is. I love my Bro so much and will miss him.

I had the good fortune to meet Nick early in my career at Mound. Even though I was young and very green he always treated me with respect and was friendly and kind. By chance I met Nick last summer at the Olive Garden when I was in Dayton visiting friends. He recognized me and we had a nice chat. I know he will be sorely missed by friends as well as his family.

Everybody at Mound loved Nick. He was always so easy going and great to be around. He helped me understand a lot of technical data while auditing that initially appeared beyond human comprehension. Nick was the best! I'll sure miss him.

Rocky was one of the nicest people we would ever meet in our card group. he loved to play euchre,he will be greatly missed by all us euchre players, as is his sister Betty Martin who passed away a short time ago, he had lots of health problems but to talk to him you would never know it, we didn't know how serious it was,his passing came as a shock to most of his card playing friends, heaven is a better place for having both of them.
my deepest sympathy
