Nimer WARWAR Obituary
News Death Notice
WARWAR, Nimer "Norman" Age 89, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Ralph, Elias, Victor, and Badia and sisters, Badil and Fahd. Norman is survived by his children, Marcus (Lora) Warwar, Grace (Dan) Bridges, and Audrey (Jim) McGuire; former spouse, but best friend, Agia Warwar; grandchildren, Jennifer McGuire, Christine (Tyler) Baratko, Zachary Gilbert, James McGuire, Marissa Warwar, Rachel Gilbert, and Grant Gilbert; great grandson, Ryker Baratko; brother, George; sisters, Ferouz, Nahell, and Georgette; sister-in-law, Laurence Warwar; nieces and nephews, Dr. Samia Borchers, Sam Warwar, Mona Warwar, and Dr. Ron Warwar, as well as numerous great nieces, and great nephews around the world. Nimer was a master at tailoring and owned his own shops in Dayton and Ft. Worth, TX. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, as well as 1 hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Norm was loved by myself, my wife Barb and the many friends he had in the "McDonald's Munch Bunch" that he met daily with in Huber Heights for many years. We had great fellowship, a lot of friendly chatter and laughs while Norm would write on napkins. He would draw caricatures and write poems about his dreams and philosophies for the future. We had lively political and religious discussions and we were all impressed with his historical knowledge of various countries and cultures. He was a child of God and I'm confident that he is with Christ in heaven today. He will be sorely missed by myself, Barb, and all of our group as we will be incomplete and never the same without him. He was a true friend and loved by everyone he met.
