My prayers and condolences are with the Steele family and Tracie Harris. Today is the first time I heard of TY. I remember when TY, Tracie and the kids stopped in Beckley, WV to visit me and my sister back in 2001 or 2002. That was the last time I seen him. He was a wonderful person with a wonderful, funny laugh and loved softball (17ers). My prayers are with the entire family. God bless you all and keep you strong. w/love

I am shuntay, Samarias causin(who once dated otis) and even though him and i only met once when he came to visit in Kentucky i felt like i knew him personaly through my causin that loved him. GOD BLESS HIS SOUL and to all his family and friend continue to be strong knowing that he is in a better place and even though u cant see him in the flesh one day u will reunite in eturnity.

I've never thought I would see this day. I've been thinking about you for a few weeks now wondering why you haven't called. You are my best friend and only we knew that. I felt it down in my soul that something wasn't right when you didn't call me on my birthday. You died 10 days before my birthday and I didn't even know. I was so afraid to look in the obituary.... May God be with you. I will always love you and I know I will see you again. I hate that I live all the way in South Carolina and I had to call your mother today Aug. 31, 2009 to get the worst news of my life. My best friend is gone forever...

I saw the girls yesterday and could see the pain in their face. I watched them play and comfort each other just as you would want. T.Y was a very good example of what a man,friend and father should be. When he and his family moved to Dayton I was glad to know them. You will be truley missed.

I met TY when he first moved up here. He was always nice and respectful and a very caring person. He even visited my mom in the hospital when she had her heart attack and by-pass surgery.I will miss his smile and his fast southern accent. My family is deeply saddened by the loss of TY but we are deep in faith of Our Lord and Savior Jesus that TY is with him now and surely in a much better place. I met Tyrone while working part-time at a Nursing home back in 2005. He was such a nice young man, always willing to help when needed. He loved his three daughters very much. I pray that his daughters and other children know that he was good man, who wanted to make sure they were always taken care of.
