Family-Placed Obituary

PARKER, Pamela Jean age 61 of Franklin, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1942 in Franklin, Ohio the daughter of Charles W. and Florence E. (Bunnell) Day. Pam had worked as a travel agent for Mark's Travel Service in Oakwood. She was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Women's Club and a member for many years of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, was a Sunday School teacher, an Elder and member of session at the Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was instrumental in establishing the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Springboro. Pam was also past Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star #535 in Franklin, and Amaranth in Middletown. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, John Parker in 1999 and a brother, Charles Keith Day. She is survived by her son, Christopher Bentley and his wife, Rita of Monroe, Georgia; two daughters, Lisa Lansdale and her husband, Donald of Franklin and Leslie Bentley of Miamisburg; and two brothers, Kenneth Day and family and Kevin Day and family. Also surviving her are five grandchildren, Donna Michelle Moreland, Jonathan Paul Rieger, Jason Bentley, Danielle Bentley and Joshua Bentley; one great granddaughter, Julieanne Marie Moreland, and numerous cousins, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 413 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio with the Reverend Ken Howard officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin, Ohio.
