ROLL, Patricia M. (HANNEGAN) Age 73 passed away Friday June 11th at Hospice of Dayton. Pat was born in St. Louis, MO August 11, 1930. She was preceded in death by a son Robert Roll, her mother Irma Protzman Hannegan and her father Robert E. Hannegan who was formerly Democratic National Chairman and served as Postmaster General under president Franklin Roosevelt. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Dr. John M. "Matt"; her sons, John & wife Daidre, Mark & wife Christine all of Oakwood, Michael of Cincinnati, Matthias & wife Kris Ellen of Greenville, Nicholas of Michigan, a daughter Rebecca Roll of Denver; 8 grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell, Michelle Roll, Justin Roll, Jeffrey & Andrew Roll, Emma, Daniel & Peter Roll; a sister, Sally & husband Richard Klohr; two brothers, Robert & William Hannegan of St. Louis. She was a member of St. Albert the Great Church, and formerly a member of Corpus Christi Church for 40 years, a member and former president of the Christ Child Soc., former board member of Dakota Street and served in the past in other community, church and school activities. Pat attended Manhattanville College in N.Y.; graduate of Maryville College in St. Louis, she was a 1978 graduate of U. of Dayton School of Law where she continued in teaching, administrator, and Associate Dean retiring in 1990. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at St. Albert the Great Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. on Monday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to HOSPICE of Dayton, envelopes available at the funeral home.
