Family-Placed Obituary
FLORENCE, Sr., Raymond L. Age 65 of Tipp City formerly of Vandalia entered into rest on September 17, 2004 at his home. He was born May 25, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to Frederick F. and Dorothy E. (Taylor) Florence. He was a member of the American Legion Post 586 and served his country proudly in the United States Navy. His mother Dorothy precedes him in death. He is survived in death by wife Phyllis A. (Johnson) of Tipp City, Ohio, his father Frederick F. of Tipp City, daughters; Teresa L. and husband Jeff W. Zellers of Tipp City, Doriann D. Florence of Tipp City, son Raymond L. and wife Cristie L. Florence Jr. of Tipp City, sister Linda L. and husband Robert E. Bush of Tipp City, and brother Frederick T. and wife Sally J. Florence of Tipp City. He is also survived by grandchildren: Kayleigh S. Florence, Kyle X. Zellers, Katie R. Zellers, Kory R. Florence, and Karson L. Florence as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2004 5 to 8 p.m. at Terebinski-Jennings Funeral Home 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 22, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. John The Baptist Church, Tipp City, Ohio with Rev. R Mark Sherlock, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions can be made in Raymond's remembrance to a charity of you choice.
