Dear Must Family,
I never shared quality time, as I came along once the family had moved out to Bellingham, WA. I write to celebrate Prof. Must's tremendous artistic legacy that my Mom and Dad always spoke of fondly, and displayed with pride in the living rooms of our homes through childhood, and displayed his work in their retirement community condo space through their later years. Thanks for sharing your friendship and artistic Grace with the Spratlen family during the Ohio years, and for the many decades thereafter. May Prof. Must rest in artistic peace, now and always.

We mourn Ray's passing but also treasure the wonderful times we had with he and Elenor in Dayton and in Lacoste, France. His gentle and positive way was always an inspiration and gift.

We are sorry to hear of Ray´s passing. He was one of my favorite artists and we got the pleasure to visit his studio and host a party focused on his work. We have several of his pieces and will always cherish them! Ray you will be missed!

I will keep the Must family in my thoughts, prayers & reflections. Ray one was of my favorite art instructors, mentor, a studio neighbor and I can still hear his words of wisdom. He opened my eyes in many ways, was a very gifted artist and will be missed. His self portrait hangs in my house and I smile in gratitude for all that he taught me. Thank you Raymond

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I remember Professor Must as one of my art instructors at Wright State University in the early 80's.
