JONES, Richard N. "Dick" 83 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2007. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio and leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Bertha (nee Cooper), a daughter Rhonda Samson and a granddaughter Laura Samson, all form the Dayton area. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Mary Jones, a brother Nelson Jones and a sister Eudora Turek. Surviving siblings are sister Marian LaVonna of Tipp City, OH, sister Eloise Turek of Niles, OH, brother Paul and wife Pat Jones of Levittown, PA, brother Don and wife Jean Jones of Youngstown, OH, and brother Robert and wife May Jones of New Wilmington, PA. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews. Richard was a US Army Veteran serving 3 years in WW II and in 1988 retired from The Standard Register Co. after 42 years of employment. He co-labored with his wife at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Springfield, OH for 15 years. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 4, 2007 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road with Reverend Ed Harvey presiding, burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Richard's family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening August 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
