DAUMANN, Robert I. "Bob" Age 89 of Dayton passed away on Thursday January 11, 2018. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Jenny Marie (Leatherman) Daumann; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Arabella Norris; step-mother-law, Myrtle Norris; step-children, Cheryl McDorman, and Kenneth Lee Mock; brother-in-law, Eugene Norris; and sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Finn, Ida Maxine Carnes, and Susan Norris. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie J. Daumann; children, Donald L. Daumann, Robert L. (Tanya Shaana) Daumann, Debra (Richard H.) Wildenhaus, and Gail (Mitchell) Miller; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Bob retired from Chysler after 42 years; he was a member of the Alpha Lodge #729 F.&A.M. and a 32nd degree Mason, Valley of Dayton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. A visitation will be held on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 3-5 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 12 PM; burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Donations may be may in Bob's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
