I remember him as Pastor Bob from Grace Community Church in Washington CH. He was so loved and will always be remembered. I did not know he had passed last year. So very sorry for your loss and our loss, as well. He was a loving pastor. God bless, Peggy Reeser, Chillicothe, Ohio

I grew up in the same church as Bob Gromacki (Bethel Baptist of Erie, PA) and graduated from Cedarville College in 1976. Having him teach a class (I had him for New Testament Survey and the Book of Revelation - he was a fantastic teacher) or speak in one of the College's chapel services was a privilege. This was before the Internet and he would ask me how his mother was after I'd been back in Erie after a break and had attended church. He interacted with his students well and often counseled them in his office. His gift as a teacher was that he could distill very difficult topics and make them easy to understand. I have many of his books in my library.

Was my NT and Greek Prof at Cedarville. Helped me get to Israel to study there in 1982. A good and gracious man.

One of my favorite professors. He was also my golf coach. He impacted my study of the New Testament through his writings and lectures. A true man of God and I have been blessed to know him both as a professor and most important as a friend.

I had known of Dr Gromacki through his writings before I arrived in his Bible classes at Cedarville. He was also a nearby neighbor to us in Palmer Drive, Cedarville. What an impressive man of faith, family man, university teacher and exceptional scholar. He was always kind and polite and a man you remember long after forty years since I sat under his teaching. God bless your dear family who you have left behind in mourning as you enter into the glorious realms of eternity with our Lord and Savior, our heavenly Father, God Almighty. What a promotion! I feel certain you will hear, "Well done my good and faithful servant".

So sorry to hear Dr. Gromacki is no longer with us but I am so happy to know he is now in the presence of God. Dr. Gromacki and I had had a conversation after class one day. I was talking to him about my options for careers after graduation. I remember how kind and understanding he was when he had helped me understand that no matter what career path I decided to pursue, I would be very successful as long as I kept my eye on the goal of doing all for the glory of God. I retired 7 years ago and am happy to say Dr. Gromacki was very instrumental in the way my career turned out.

Dr. Gromacki taught me to love the Word of God. I
am privileged to have had him for Bible class and be in the class of 1964 and enjoy his class leadership all 4 years. Thankful, too, to know he's with the Lord Jesus Christ whom he loved so much.

I am sorry for your loss, Dr. Gromacki was beloved here at Cedarville. My husband graduated in 1997 and was taught Greek by Dr. Gromacki. Over the years he has often talked about how much he learned from Dr. Gromacki, even though he also says he may have developed high blood pressure from it :-). He also reminisces about their final being on the golf course :-). Praying God comforts your family as you miss him.

Gloria, and family, I´m so sorry for your loss of Mr. Gromacki. I only got to know him over the past couple months, but so glad I did. He was a beautiful, kind, Christian Man. May the Lord Bless him, and your family, for eternity.
